Degradation and augmentation
At one cycle per day, LFP cells lose 2.0–2.5% of capacity in the first year and about 1.2% per year thereafter. After 10 years, actual capacity is 72–78% of the initial value — which is why contracts provide for augmentation in years 7–10.
