No. In a hybrid installation, storage uses the shared connection point, which is the main economic argument for retrofitting existing farms.

How much does the connection fee cost?

For storage systems, the fee is set based on the DSO's actual costs. For MV connections this is typically several hundred thousand PLN; for HV, several to over a dozen million PLN.

How long are connection conditions valid?

Two years from the date of delivery. Within this period, a connection agreement must be concluded.

Adding storage to an existing installation

Adding storage to a PV or wind farm requires amending the connection conditions to a hybrid installation. If the storage system does not increase the power fed into the grid, the procedure is usually faster and concludes with an annex to the agreement.
